1 - What is the show's code of conduct?
The Garden State Comic Fest has a Zero tolerance policy towards any misbehavior of any kind. The code is simple: Be Good OR Be Gone. To be specific, this is NOT good: physical assault, verbal harassment, sexual harassment, stalking, unwanted physical contact, unwanted advances, or inappropriate (nude or sexual in nature) photography. Violation will result in your expulsion from the show, banning from future shows and/or possible arrest.
Use good judgment; if you have to think twice about an action, then it’s probably not a good idea.
2 - What is the weapons policy?
NO real weapons, explosives, or similar special effects are permitted. Violation may result in your possible arrest.
3 - What is the PROP weapons policy?
All prop weapons must conform to The Garden State Comic Fest Weapons Policy, which is as follows: Weapons must be non-working and peace bonded. No functioning projectile weapons - including water pistols, silly-string guns, and ping-pong pistols. - Bladed weapons must be cased or sheathed at ALL times. Any weapon used in an offensive manner will be confiscated.
4 - Is parking available?
Yes and it is FREE!!!!
5 - Can I pay with a Credit Card?
We are working on this as you read this. Note, additionally there are ATM machines available at the Mennen Arena for your convenience.
6 - Can I bring a bag to carry my material?
Yes, bags are allowed, but note that all bags are subject to inspection at any time.
7 - Are strollers allowed?
We prefer not to have any strollers out of courtesy and politeness to others as it can get pretty busy on the show floor.
8 - I cannot get to the show. May I receive a refund?
Unfortunately no, all admissions for the Garden State Comic Fest are non-refundable.
