Nelson DeCastro

Nelson has been working in comics since 1991 as one of the industry’s most versatile creators. He has written, penciled, inked, or painted covers for every major comic publisher. Nelson is mostly known for his meticulous cover paintings, Fleer’s Marvel Masterpieces ‘95 set, and runs on books like Marvel Knights, Superman, Action Comics, Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point, Green Lantern Corps, Lobo, as well as titles like Iron Man, X-Men: First Class, Venom, and Daredevil. Nelson teaches highly popular classes at the School of Visual Arts and is also a film score composer.
