Garden State Comic Fest has an ABSOLUTELY ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for any
and all types of harassment, including but not limited to:
Inappropriate Physical Contact
Unwelcome Physical Attention
Pestering / Stalking
Intimidation / Bullying
Offensive Verbal Comments
Physical Assault and/or Battery
Disruption Of Events
Harassing Photography Or Recording
Non-Consensual Photography Or Recording
regarding, but not limited to:
Weight / Body Size
You may report an occurrence to a GSCF volunteer, to our on the premises law enforcement officials or member of our Security team.
If a person takes part in harassing conduct, Garden State Comic Fest (GSCF) Staff will take swift action in any form they deem appropriate, including ejection from GSCF with NO refund. Our policy applies to anyone at GSCF. Exhibitors, Dealers, Fans (Attendees), Speakers, Guests, Professionals, Press, Staff, Volunteers, and Security are all subject to our anti-harassment.
Anyone can report harassment. If someone’s behavior has made you uncomfortable, or if you witness the same happening to someone else, you should immediately contact Law Enforcement officials or GSCF Staff, Security Team or a Volunteer.
If necessary, we will have our on the premises local law enforcement, provide escort, offer a safe place or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to make sure they feel safe for the rest of GSCF.
Remember: Don’t be Creepy! Keep your hands to yourself. If you would like to take a picture with or of another GSCF Fan, always ask first and respect that person's right to say no. If you are given permission, do not touch the other person.
When at GSCF, BE GOOD or BE GONE.
GSCF‘s goal is to create an entertaining, safe, friendly and amazing event where Fans of all kinds can come together and celebrate. We want you to not only have the most incredible weekend ever, but to experience it in an atmosphere where you are safe and accepted.
